When you enter our shop, you can order old-fashioned confections that really take you back to yesteryear. The most popular is our bean paste-loaded steamed bun, "age manju" the appeal of which is apparent in the wonderful smile of owner as he lovingly makes each one by hand one at a time.
If the steamed bun appears uneven on the outside, he begs your indulgence; but please bear in mind that the shape is not so important, because the fact that they are handmade is what makes them so incredibly delicious!
We recommend that you order ahead of time, because the number we make every day is limited.
