This walkway is paved so that even on a rainy day it is relatively easy to walk, and lets you enjoy the changing seasons.
In the spring, spreading clumps of Bog Wintergreen and Windflowers are in bloom. In summer, the wind off the lake feels cool and comfortable, and along the path, Cardiocrinum and Golden-rayed lilies add color to the walk. In autumn, the foliage of Lime-leaved maple, Japanese maple and other trees changes to red and yellow, and you can enjoy splendid fall colors. The lakeshore here is rather complex, making entry a little formidable, and the area is dotted with a multitude of small islands. In the middle of them over the most difficult line to a sort of tidal island, there is a suspension bridge. In the winter this bridge is removed, so from mid-November until the end of the following April, the course is impassable.
