This route begins its climb at the Inawashiro ski area. The slope is severe, but you can see Lake Inawashiro down below, and this will make you forget your mountain climbing fatigue. On the way, there is a lot of alpine foliage at Numa No Hira, and in addition, from the crater wall you can see contrasting scenery, first this soft lush feeling, and later very rough and wild. The trailhead has parking and a hot springs.
Usually you need three hours and thirty minutes to climb up, and three hours to come back down.
