Along Route 49, as you enter Aizu-Wakamatsu City, you will find “Yasuragi No Sato Aizu Mura”. Restaurant Kannontei is right inside.
Kannontei serves principally Aizu cuisine from an extensive menu, and we have all kinds of Aizu goodies and taste for the many tourists who come here.
We suggest “Sosu-katsu don (sauce cutlet on rice)”, which really stands for Aizu (900 yen). Our rice is select local Aizu rice, popular with juicy meat and sauce. In addition, we offer the popular challenge meal by reservation: this is a 3-person serving of “Mega katsu-kare chahan (Curry cutlet fried rice)”. We dare you to consume this in 30 minutes; and if you do, there is no charge!
(If there is any left on the plate, however, the cost is 3,000 yen.) Don’t miss this chance to accept the challenge.
