Heading toward Inawashiro on Route 49, along a white sandy beach on Lake Inawashiro, you can see buildings standing along the shore at Shidahama. Pleasure boats depart and return here, and it is the base for various marine sports. At the nearby campground there is a forest of colorful tents, and it is also a wintering ground for swans and seagulls flying south for the winter.
There is a vast parking area, and there are motor boats and paddleboats and swan-shaped sightseeing crafts (In service from spring to fall). You can also find campsites, and auto-camps.
