Omotebandai Oshitate Onsen Sumiyoshikan
Phone:0242-65-2221
Yama-gun, Inawashiro-machi Oaza, Iwane Aza, Sagachi 2556
At Sumiyoshikan there are two original hot spring sources. One is a “Simple, clear and colorless spring”. The other, which gushes out as “cloudy water”, our ancestors dug by hand. Ours is an onsen with “hot water direct from the source”, not piped in. It is effective for relief of everyday fatigue and for smooth skin. Outside and inside baths are both available 24 hours a day, and on a summer night “Genjibotaru” and “Heikebotaru” fireflies flit around for you to watch.
Our boasted meals, made with a great amount of local materials for the creative dishes we offer, are served to guests sitting around a raised traditional hearth. In addition we have much Aizu Inawashiro local sake, famous sake from the area, including “Setchu chozo”. We offer our apologies if it has been sold out when you are here.
Surrounded by a natural grove of trees, immerse yourself in a rustic open-air bath and regale yourself with delicious cooking. “Relaxed and satisfied…” We think this will be your feeling of gratification.
This facility is a member of the “Japanese Association for the Preservation of Hidden Hot Springs”.
