The Fudo River has its source in a distinct, deep valley of Funamyojinsan in the Adatara mountain system, and at the base of its famous falls there is a Buddhist statue of Aryacalanatha.
Along the rock face, flowing like a curtain of water is Odaki (Man Falls). On the west side is the gently flowing beautiful Mei Taki (Niece Falls) with an opposite, more feminine feeling.
Surrounded by dense forest and an ordinarily solemn atmosphere, new spring green and autumn color seasons make it especially beautiful, so it is bustling with people who come to take in the view.
Nakanozawa Hot Spring is only 15 minutes away, and from the parking lot here it is a 10-minute walk to this gorgeous falls, making it very popular.
