Wakaki Store makes miso and soy sauce.
We use Aizu soybeans, flour, Ako No Amajio salt, and Iimoriyama痴 waters, to make a natural soy sauce that is available only here!
This place was built in 1905 and The National Property Association that inspects brick warehouses has registered it as a tangible cultural property and, like the striped persimmon wood used for the tatami interior, we haven't changed, so the atmosphere is also the same as the fighting spirit of Kitakata people.
In addition, next door to our shop there is a nostalgic toy and candy shop from Showa times, "Wakaki Showakan" (Open season from April to November). For the little ones there is an akabeko painting experience that we recommend. We cannot help but be certain that they will become enthusiastically hooked on it.
