From the summit of Nekomagadake, you can get a good view of Mt. Bandai, Iide Range, Azuma range, and other mountains, as well as Lake Urabandai, Lake Inawashiro, Oguni Pond and other lakes and ponds.

Around 800 AD, Tokuichi opened Enichi Temple along this path (Bandai Town), and ascetic monks passed here on the road between the temple and Naka Azumayama "Azuma Daigongen"

Many roots along the way make it a difficult course, and strong winds and fog require care. In addition, the Nekoma viewing platform has no available water.
From Oguni rest facility to Oguni Pond is about 20 minutes one way. The boardwalk around the swamp requires about 15 min to walk.
