Underground water from of sacred mountain Iide produces many famous kinds of sake.

At Yamatogawa Sake brewery head office in Kitakata City, Teramachi, we opened "Yamatogawa Brewery Hoppofudokan" in our old sake warehouse, and visitors to Kitakata and citizens are more than welcome here. Inside, we display remains of an old well, rice steaming vessels, and tools for sake making that let you understand the sense of continuous sake brewing through warehouses of the Edo, Taisho, and Showa Periods.

Naturally, we boast a great sake tasting room where we also sell special dishes for use in enjoying sake. Enjoy shopping for a travel souvenir to take with you.
