Yama-gun, Bandai-machi (historic site; Enichi Temple Ruins)
A long time ago, about 50 meters below the summit of Umayatake Mountain, a sitting female deity statue, Bato Kannon Bosatsu Zazo, was positioned in the Aizu's Bato Kannon Faith's main temple, and many people made the ascent to it.
It is said that on festival days of June 16 and 17 of the lunar calendar it was crowded with many worshippers.
Nowadays, the number of visitors has decreased, so a decision was made to move it from the mountains and enshrine it at its current location.
