This waterfall is a tributary of the Koya River in the middle of Nekomagadake hill on the Bandai Gold Line. It is five minutes on foot from the parking lot.
Until the walkway was developed it was little known and it is called the “Waterfall of Illusion (Maboroshi No Taki)”. It has a drop of 18 meters.
After walking five minutes on the promenade, it will appear majestically before you. The water flowing down the brown rock wall of many stages makes a lovely shape. When you get close to the waterfall’s basin, in summer you will be bathed by the spray and cooled off.
*Be on the lookout for bears!!... It is a good idea to bring a bell, or whistle or something with you, and please take care as you go in.
