"Yugo Nunomoriyama" is a peacefully constructed day-visit hot spring located at the foot of the Mt. Bandai on the Inawashiro Plateau. Nunomoriyama is part of the Bandai Range, 1170 meters above sea level, but our hot springs gushes out of its source at the foot. The water of this "alkaline simple hot spring" boasts an alkalinity of pH 10, and as a result your skin will become smooth without washing. Because the water is lukewarm, we recommend you to use it slowly over a longer time. There are separate open-air and indoor baths for men and women. The ceilings and walls of the indoor baths are resplendent in larch wood, which gives the inside such a Japanese flair, but if we say so ourselves, the spaciousness and garden of the open-air bath makes it the best. You can have a satisfying soak in an Arcadian hot spring and at the same time take in the different aspects of the four seasons in the mountains. On a clear day it is a luxury to thus appreciate the Adatara range from a distance. Moreover, you can enjoy a fine meal at this facility. The restaurant is a log structure and it has a spacious log cabin atmosphere with lots of elbow room, so groups and families can really visit and talk. In addition, there is a free rest area and a (pay) private resting space for your use, so please take advantage of these.
