The steep incline of this scree slope makes this climb a route for the powerful and confident person. The course is alongside the Inawashiro ski resort area, and begins with a walk through a grove of trees. After that, there are many stones and rocks, and you must be careful of the falling rocks. There is nothing, nearby, so after a bit you can have the best sightseeing. Among the Aizu area mountains, far away in the distance across the Aizu basin, you can see the the Itoyo Mountain range, and the most magnificent panorama. As an additional precaution, when the wind is really howling you must be very careful.
Ordinarily the ascent takes three and a half hours, and the descent two and a half hours.
