On the west side of Mt. Bandai, water flows from springs. Ryuga Spring has the best water, the water that came out when Nekoma Mountain erupted.
From between boulders a great quantity of spring water flows and even when the area around has no water, it never runs dry. During the Edo Period, Aizu clan ordered a big rain-making ceremony here.
・In addition, before or after war they prayed for rain at Ryugasawa, and offered the five grains and the priest prayed sutras for the repercussions of the dragon's evil.
・This spring water runs through the garden of Mt. Bandai Enichi Temple's information hall, and is a famous spot for people who are into natural water to crowd into and to fetch water to take with them.
