This is a place to take a rest near Tsuruga Castle.
It is a treasure trove of all kinds of souvenirs.
Kindhearted Aizu people make Kitakata ramen with great water and rice. We have an Aizu famous sake corner, Aizu lacquer-ware that has a proud tradition of 400 years, akabeko crafts, folk art and character goods etc., Aizu famous confections, and more. We also offer the experience of painting Akabeko, roly-poly, and zodiac figures.
This shop has its own original sauce for cutlet-rice dishes, etc. Really, there is no end to the Aizu souvenirs here. Meals are at "Ninomaru Restaurant" (for usual visitors) and 鉄hokunoyakata・(for groups) with meals in wooden boxes to eat with sauce cutlet rice bowls.
Kitakata Ramen is at "Shujakutei" and ice cream at the "Tezukuri gelato kobo" where we urge you to enjoy the taste of Aizu.
