This ancient temple inner gate is an important element, as it separates the outside area from the sacred ground in front of the main building.
The historic site of Enichi Temple's reconstruction, following restoration of the main building, continued over the course of two years from Heisei 19-20, as the restoration project for the inner gate continued.
Because of the restoration of this inner gate and main temple, you can experience with your own eyes, the image of this ancient ceremonial space.
